For all horseback trips, we pack in and out of the Routt National Forest on horseback. We urge everyone to pack as light as possible to ensure our horses and mules don't tire out. Each guest must keep their pack weight to 60 lbs. or less.
**Drive up base camps do not have any weight or gear restrictions.**

- Hunting license & Hunters safety card
- Rifle & Ammunition:
- We recommend- 270, 30-06, 25-06, 7MM, and 300 Win mag. Standard shots from 50 yards to 400 yards.
- Bow, Arrows, Broadheads
- Safety Blaze orange or pink Vest and hat (Rifle and Muzzleloader required)
- Jacket- light and heavy

- Boots- 2 pairs- insulated and non-insulated
